Welcome friends and enemies to another edition of the deck of many things, today we will separate from the themes and topics of previous shows, that because well... i trip in the way where we record the show and a card fall from the deck so...

                                                      Throne

The card throne have a curious effect, because the throne shows you what do you thing is the best of certain topic or genre. The topics is chosen by the card when you pull it out and is incredibly influnced by the things you are doing in that moment and how I was listening music, the card show me my favorite music artist.

The music industry is extremely varied and my tastes are also like that, but there two genre that I really love: pop/pop-punk and rap. In these genre, for me, are two model artist and I follow and love, the band first known by their pop-punk and emo style and later by their alternative pop paramore and the rapper Kendrick Lamar, both of them mean a lot for me in different times of my life, paramore in my mid teens and early 20s and Kendrick in these past few years influenced me a lot. I really like the themes in their songs like the struggles of adolecense and the pression everyone felt from the society in the paramore album like Riot, Brand new eyes and after laughter, on other hand kendrick albums talk about racial inequality in USA and much of that replicate in my country (obviously not to that extent) and as a POC I really feel songs like the darker the berry and complexion (a zulu love). I wish these description incline to listen the artist I mention before and give them all the love they deserved.

Last time in the show we talk about the careers choice and the future jobs, a importants topics in person life, but what happen when you finish your career? a lot freshly graduate college student face this frustrating situation. These student generally have two path to chose: find a job and start working in the field they studied or continue studying and specialize in their career, but that it isnt a easy choice and a lot of them want a helping hand with the decision, maybe today card can help with that problem, so lets get going!

                                                      Vizier

Oh! just the card I was hoping to get, the card Vizier is almost made for this dilemma, because both effect have relation with it, but lets talk about the lesser effect, in words of the last owner of the deck "This card play a decisive role in history guiding great leader to victory and avoiding defeat", this is because when vizier activate a great entitie apper in front of you and anwser you a question, for example Vizier i should get a postgraduate degree? Oh i get it now!.

I assume you want to know what the vizier told me, I will reveal to you; it told me to pursue a post degree and I think it is right, I always want to delve into the topics of my career, like archeology specialized in african history  or archeology of repression in cities. I would like to study these topics in the Ethiopia for the first one and france or united states for the second, maybe working at the same time.

There is a lots paths in life, some dangerous some more like office job, but no one can denied that everyone have their perks and weakness, already say that no jobs or path in life are no exception to criticism from all sources like family, friends, school-mates, co-worker, etc. I too have been in this dilemma in my youth, because the career I choose dont align with the traditional careers in my country, like lawyer, doctor, entrepreneur, etc instead I went with Anthropology a field relative unknown with the majority of the people, so a lot people of my inner circle family was critical about my decision, but I was resolute in my decision and with the help of the card we will talk today.

                                                      Idiot

The card idiot dont have a effect that correlation with the it name, because the principal effect of the card is give you the power to ignore the complaint and criticism of other people about your actions and continue doing it, even though the brand you as an "idiot". Only with that card I have been able to pursue my carrer of choice.

Choosing the career is the first step into your path of life (even though you dont follow it through all your life on earth), but thinking in the future have the same importance, for example projecting your future job. In my case I want to have a job outside the country I currently reside, preferentially a outdoors one like working in archeology sites in different parts of the world, so I need to earn a significant amount of money, but like a doppleganger, future can change in any minute
